Dylan loves his book of "Things That Go!"

Grandma Joleen got Dylan this book. It is his absolute favorite! He will sit and look at it FOREVER. My favorite part is when he gets down real close to the picture to look at it. It makes me laugh everytime! Sometimes when he is reading it, I will even catch him giggling at it. He is so silly. (If you listen close you can hear my bird saying "Pretty Bird" over and over in the background. I have tried forever to get him on video doing it and haven't been able to yet, so there you go!)

Dylan loves the water!

This is Dylan at Braxton's 6th Birthday Party. We went to the Blackfoot Swimming Pool. The water was pretty chilly. Little Dylan's lips were shivering for the first 15 minutes or so. Eventually he got used to it and then had tons of fun splashing!

Dylan's using a fork!

Dylan is loving eating with a fork. He gets so excited when he stabs the food! (Sorry the last picture is blurry.)

He loves it almost as much as he loves drinking from a cup. I can only pour a tiny bit of water in his cup at a time though because he dumps the whole thing in his mouth all at once. He will drink water over and over and over just because he thinks it's so fun. He lets me know he's done by chucking his cup across the room, usually when it has water in it. Little stinker!!

4 Generations of Family

Today I took Dylan to see his birth mom and family. This is a picture of 4 generations. Great grandma Ethel, Birth mom Holly, Dylan and Grandma Joleen. I love visiting with them. They are all so sweet!

TJ helped Dylan color an Easter egg. Dylan thought that was so much fun.... and YES, his hand was stained green for the next few days. Oops!

Family Movie Night!

All of the kids love their very own recliner chairs to watch movies in. Even Dylan thought they were pretty cool!

Yay for two handed sippy cups!

I figured the only way I'm going to get Dylan to drink from a cup is to get him a sippy cup first. I love the two handles. Dylan did a GREAT job holding it!

Dylan's drinking with his left hand!

I still have to put the bottle into Dylan's left hand, but he is now getting it into his mouth and holding on his own. What a big boy!

Dylan sat up!!

Today I spent the day at my sister, JaNae's house, making flower barettes for Tyra's hair. Dylan and Braxton were with me. Dylan, although he wasn't feeling very good, sat and played on the floor by us most of the time. One time I was watching him and he was ALMOST getting to a sitting position from laying down, all by himself. I kept trying to cheer him on, but ultimately he didn't make it.

Later we looked down and saw him sitting up. I asked my sister if she had put him that way. She said she hadn't and I hadn't either. I was excited, but still wasn't quite sure if he had done it himself. JaNae has lots of daughters that might have come in and sat him up.

Finally, I looked another time and he did it completely by himself. YAY!!!!!! I was so excited. That is the first time that he has done that. Also, later, I saw him trying to get to a ball and he army crawled forward to get to it. That made me so happy too, because that is what we have been trying to get him to do in therapy forever. Next step is crawling. I just hope that he learns to crawl before he learns how to walk. But either way, I am so proud of him!

My Big One Year Old!!!

Holly gave Dylan this suit for his 1st Birthday. Actually the one she got him was too small because he is such a big boy now, so I had to exchange it for this one. It was the closest one to the same thing that I could find. He sure looks handsome in it. Thanks again Holly!! (I'm loving Dylan's two bottom teeth. So cute!!)
